Iron (Fe) Chef Competition
For chemistry we had our project the Iron (Fe) Chef Competition project. We were given 5 secret ingredients to make a dish out of using those 5 ingredients. We had to make our own recipes without research, we had to cook it ourselves, make descriptions and a poster for our dish. For this project we had to learn the science behind cooking, how it cooks, why it cooks, what works well together, why do these things happen and taste, how we taste. Once we understood how it worked, it was time to cook. On exhibition day, my group made a pizza, our 5 ingredients were pickles, asparagus, potatoes, smoked gouda cheese, and Italian sausage. The pickles were mixed in the tomato sauce, the smoked gouda cheeses was mixed with the parmesan cheese, and the potatoes, asparagus, and sausage were the toppings. We called it "Peter Pipers Dilled Pickle Pizza"

Reflection
New things I learned in this project was how to cook meat correctly, making sure I don't poison myself when I eat. It's helpful if I cut a piece of the meat open checking its color making sure it good to eat. I'm most proud of is making a pizza with the ingredients we were given. If was going to do this project again, I would bring my own supplies because it was chaotic sharing them.
