In this week, we looked at interviews from Storycorp and the one that I find the best personally was the one with the mom who talks to an ex-gang member who murdered her son. That shows that Storycorp as made big impacts in peoples life and are making them better people. This lady, talks to a man, calls him family, this man murdered her son in gang related violence. That takes courage, and in Storycorp needs a lot of it.
The most interesting interview was the on Dr.P did with Ms.Lily, I didn't notice that its all about the interviewee. If he or she feels attacked, uncomfortable, shy, harassed, then it's done.I knew about body language, but I didn't pay attention about who I am interviewing, it's all about them. I would want to interview my ,mom, Storycorp keeps the interview and what you could do is show it to your children. There have been people who have interviewed their parents then have passed away, then they play it for their children who didn't get to know their elders. So I would rather have then not, and it would have myself at a young age and remember the time I interviewed mom. I would just want to hear stories of her growing, Iv'e heard plenty but I would just like to hear more of them.
